1. Who you're contracting with

These Terms are a contract between you and RibeiroPinto OÜ("RibeiroPinto", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in Estonia, operating the Bank Statement Converter service at parsebankstatements.com (the "Service").

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you're using the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization. If you're an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.

3. The Service

The Service lets you upload bank statement PDFs and receive an Excel-compatible file containing parsed transactions. Parsing is automated and best-effort; you are responsible for reviewing the output before relying on it.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose;
  • Upload content you do not have the right to process;
  • Send spam or attempt to phish other users;
  • Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
  • Interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, including probing, scanning, scraping, distributing malware, or bypassing rate limits or access controls;
  • Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service.

5. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the files you upload. You grant RibeiroPinto OÜ a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and transmit those files solely to provide the Service to you.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by RibeiroPinto OÜ and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your chosen plan.

8. Payment, subscriptions, and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders.Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, cancellations, and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for details.

9. Service level

We work to keep the Service reliable but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. Parsed output may contain errors and should be reviewed before use.

10. Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RibeiroPinto OÜ's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify RibeiroPinto OÜ against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your data after a reasonable window.

14. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at RibeiroPinto OÜ's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
